Lafayette Parish School System Superintendent Dr. Donald Aguillard has appointed Lisa Semere as assistant principal at Paul Breaux Middle School, Kandice Broussard assistant principal at Youngsville Middle and Milton Elementary/Middle Schools, and Rollan Moore assistant principal at Lafayette Middle School.
Lisa Semere earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Education from UL Lafayette and a Master’s of Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ms. Semere taught reading, business, and speech at Berwick High School, Franklin Jr. High School and Centerville High School. She has taught reading, speech, drama, debate and English at Northside High School. In 2001 she moved to St. Tammany Parish where she taught business and was the Ninth Grade Academy Coordinator. She was serving as the assistant principal at Boyet Jr. High School until her appointment to Paul Breaux Middle School.
Kandice Broussard earned a Bachelor’s degree at UL Lafayette. She earned a Master of Education Degree at Lamar University. Ms. Broussard has served as a home economics teacher at Reeves High School, a head girl’s basketball and track coach at Kinder Junior High School, a PE teacher at Kinder Elementary School, an academic intervention teacher at Comeaux High School, and as an acting 10th Grade Administrator at Comeaux High School.
Rollan Moore earned a Bachelor’s Degree from UL Lafayette, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from UL Monroe, and more than 30 hours of graduate credit in Curriculum/Gifted Education from UL Monroe. He is pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at UL Lafayette. Rollan has served as an Elementary and Middle School teacher in St. Landry Parish. He served as an Academic Behavior Coordinator at and an assistant principal at Alice Boucher Elementary School.
