This fall, the Lafayette Parish Public School System will continue to offer drive-through distribution of pre-packaged meal boxes for all LPSS students under 18 years old at four school sites, every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In partnership with Focus Foods, LPSS will provide each student with seven servings of snacks and suppers, including a combination of frozen and shelf-stable meals that require only a few minutes to prepare.
To participate in this program, families must register each child using an online form: tinyurl.com/yjnl8nnd. Saturday distribution begins tomorrow, August 14, 2021 so parents are encouraged to register now. As a reminder, all students are eligible to receive free meals regardless of income qualifications.
PLEASE NOTE: Even those who were registered for the Summer Meal Program are required to register again for the Fall Meal Program. Families only need to register once for the fall. Please contact LPSS Child Nutrition Services for further assistance at 337-521-7370.
Saturday meal distribution will occur between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the following locations:
- Acadiana High School, 315 Rue du Bélier, Lafayette
- Alice Boucher Elementary School, 400 Patterson Street, Lafayette
- Live Oak Elementary School, 3020 N. University Avenue, Lafayette
- Southside High School, 312 Almonaster Road, Youngsville
