New Green T. Lindon Principal Named at LPSS

LPSS is pleased to announce that Assistant Principal Nancy Credeur has been promoted to the position of principal at Green T. Lindon Elementary School. She is replacing outgoing Principal Ginger Richard who was promoted to director of ESL for the district.

“Nancy Credeur is the perfect choice for principal of Green T. Lindon,” said Superintendent Irma Trosclair. “As assistant principal for the last two years, she knows the Cool Cubs’ community and is well prepared to step into this new role.”

As assistant principal, Credeur was responsible for a wide range of administrative and academic duties. She developed and led professional development opportunities for teachers, organized parent events, and analyzed school data for benchmark testing — in addition to overseeing school-wide discipline.

Prior to joining the staff at Green T. Lindon, Credeur served at Ridge Elementary School for 12 years - five years as an instructional strategist and seven years as a teacher. Before that she taught fourth and second grades at Alice Boucher Elementary for seven years.

“I’m truly honored and excited to take on this new challenge,” said Credeur. “The love and support I’ve received from everyone has been amazing.”

Credeur received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2000 and earned a Master of Education Degree in educational leadership in 2017.
