All LPSS schools and facilities will be closed tomorrow Tuesday, September 14, 2021, due to the heavy rains and potential flooding expected with Tropical Storm Nicholas. All students will participate in remote learning while facilities are closed. Assignments will be communicated to students by teachers at each individual school.
LPSS will continue to monitor the weather in consultation with local emergency officials and will notify families of the status of school on Wednesday as the storm develops. This decision will be communicated tomorrow afternoon.
