The Lafayette Parish School System would like to congratulate the Early College Academy for being awarded the 2021 College Success Award. The objective of the College Success Award is to recognize and celebrate public high schools that are successfully preparing students to enroll and succeed in college. “We have worked hard to be the first program of its kind in Lafayette Parish and we are so excited to be recognized for this award. I am so proud of our hardworking staff and I can’t wait to continue to pursue the academic success of our students,” Principal Alexander Melton of Early College Academy.
In addition to receiving GreatSchools annual award, Early College Academy has been selected as one of only 1,770 schools across the nation to win the inaugural College Success Award - Gold. This achievement is an elevated level of distinction to recognize schools that have a multiyear track record of college success.
