Neighbors helping neighbors! LPSS recently visited our neighbors in St. Charles Parish who were impacted by Hurricane Ida. We delivered donations of school uniforms and a check in the amount of $16,000. Our students, staff, and members of the community graciously made these donations to assist these students with hurricane recovery efforts. Superintendent Dr. Ken Oertling and Executive Director for Equity and Student Support Tamika Green accepted the donation and were so appreciative of our assistance. LPSS wants to thank everyone for their generosity to help our neighbors.
