LPSS Announces Appointment of Ernest Gallet Elementary School Principal

Jenna Vincent

Following the transfer of Monique Chargois to Westside Elementary, the Lafayette Parish School System is pleased to announce the appointment of Jenna Vincent as the new principal of Ernest Gallet Elementary School.

“Jenna will bring enthusiasm and excitement to the Youngsville community, strengthening connections among students, staff, and families,” states Superintendent Francis Touchet.

Jenna Vincent has served as a Master Teacher and Assistant Principal at Alice Boucher Elementary School beginning in 2020. Early in her career, Mrs. Vincent discovered her passion for education while completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations. During a community campaign, she found a love for education through organizing grassroots efforts to raise awareness on important issues, including education. This led her to pursue a Certification in Elementary Education in 2009, marking the beginning of her teaching career.

Mrs. Vincent is dedicated to fostering positive and collaborative environments. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an ability to motivate and build strong relationships, spearheading several key initiatives. She has worked with colleagues district-wide to develop and lead professional learning communities aimed at enhancing teaching and learning across the parish. Mrs. Vincent is committed to recognizing opportunities, challenging those around her to grow, and celebrating the achievements of students, staff, and the community.

Vincent states "I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the opportunity to serve Ernest Gallet and the city of Youngsville. I have a passion for collaboration and believe there is no better way to build community and trust than to lean on our individual strengths to make our school community a better place."

Mrs. Jenna Stelly Vincent holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership.
