Fine Arts Programs that Inspire Creativity
At L.J. Alleman, students have the opportunity to participate in fine arts concentrations that allow them to build skills, explore new interests, and discover their voice. These programs are taught by dedicated, experienced educators who foster curiosity, discipline, and collaboration.
Fine arts offerings include:
- Band: Performing on woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments while developing musical literacy and ensemble skills.
- Chorus: Focusing on vocal technique, harmony, expression, and teamwork.
- Dance: Building coordination, strength, and confidence through ballet, jazz, and contemporary movement.
- Guitar: Learning chords, note reading, technique, and group performance.
- Piano: Developing musicianship and keyboard skills for both solo and group settings.
- Strings: Studying violin, viola, cello, or bass with attention to tone, technique, and ensemble playing.
- Theatre: Gaining experience in acting, stagecraft, character development, and collaborative performance.
- Visual Arts: Creating through drawing, painting, sculpture, and design, encouraging imagination and artistic problem-solving.
