Capitalizing on Opportunity, Hitting Every Note

Lafayette High School’s Performing Arts Academy piano students recently turned preparation into performance at the Lafayette Area Music Teachers Association Piano Rally Competition, held at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Competing across Piano Levels 3 through 6, students were evaluated in performance, sight reading, and keyboarding, with scores measured on a 100-point scale. Their results reflect both technical skill and the ability to rise to the moment.
