Progress is underway at LJ Alleman Middle School as crews begin work on new driveways and parking improvements. This marks the first phase of the LJ Alleman expansion, an important step forward in supporting student growth.
These upgrades will improve access and traffic flow for students, staff, and families. More importantly, they lay the foundation for what comes next: a new wing designed to expand capacity and create additional space for student learning, including continued growth of the school’s Fine Arts Academy.
This investment reflects LPSS’s commitment to growth by increasing access to high-quality programs that students and families are actively seeking. As demand continues to rise for specialized academic and arts opportunities, projects like this ensure more students can participate, explore their interests, and develop their talents.
At its core, this work is about more than construction. It is about creating opportunities. By expanding space and access, we are supporting students as they grow academically, creatively, and confidently today and into the future.
Thank you to contractor JB Mouton LLC for the bird's eye views!
