The Lafayette Parish School System has named Nancy Credeur as Director of Educational Technology, bringing more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, instructional leader, and principal to the role.

Credeur began her career at Alice Boucher Elementary and later spent 12 years at Ridge Elementary as both a teacher and instructional strategist. She most recently served as assistant principal and principal at Green T. Lindon Elementary and was named LPSS Elementary Principal of the Year for 2025–2026. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a Master of Education in educational leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with our district leaders in an effort to move technology in our school system forward,” said Credeur. “I am excited to work with the dedicated technology team as we continue to support our schools, enhance learning opportunities, and build a strong foundation for the future.”

Superintendent Francis Touchet, Jr. said Credeur’s experience and leadership make her a strong fit for the position.

“Nancy understands our classrooms because she has led in them,” said Touchet. “She will help ensure our students and staff have the tools they need to succeed.”
