An Education Filled with Wonder: Art Experiences For All

Thanks to our partnership with the Acadiana Center for the Arts, 21,798 LPSS students in grades pre-k-8 were able to enjoy various art experiences this school year! From plays to art gallery visits to musicals and ballets, students were immersed in a world full of fresh, rich, and invigorating art experiences; completely free of charge!  

Every performance and exhibition was a blend of entertainment and education, featuring live Q&As and interactive art displays. Students weren’t merely spectators but participators. It wouldn't be fair to state that only the students gained from these experiences. Staff, teachers, and even ourselves, as we reported on the events, left with a fresh sense of Joie de Vive and wonder. What better way to learn than through curiosity and wonder?
