Instructional Technology offers support and resources for technologies that enhance both the teaching and learning experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the management of  Chromebooks, student accounts, Promethean ActivPanels, and Google Workspace support. Professional development opportunities are offered during the summer, on district in-service days, and on specific dates requested by administrators or instructional leaders.

Networking specialists set up, install, support, repair, and maintain the district's network infrastructure. They also ensure that all LPSS devices, network connectivity, and filtering are in compliance with laws that allow us to provide digital access to patrons. Devices include but are not limited to network switches, wireless access points, video surveillance cameras, VoIP telephones, desktop, computers, laptop computers, and Chromebooks.

• Diagnosis and repair of computer equipment and software 
• Preventative maintenence on computer equipment and software
  • Hardware and software updates
  • Installation of new operating system versions
• Maintaining equipment warranty records and pursuing warranty repairs when applicable
• Software and equipment installation
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis
