Lafayette Parish School System Pre-K Program
LAFAYETTE PARISH SCHOOL SYSTEM PRE-K PROGRAM: LPSS Pre-K contains classrooms within the school district that are funded by LA4, 8g, Title 1 and Special Education grants as well as some local funds. This program, following the school system calendar, provides daily education to 4 year olds in Lafayette Parish. The grants first service children eligible within their home zone if available. Due to limited seats in home zones, Truman Early Childhood Education Center accommodates up to 500 overflow students from most zones. Transportation is also provided.
